Cordless roman shades are the new kid on the block and they are taking the block by storm. They eliminate all those old problems with corded roman shades like never being straight to name one of the biggest flaws.

In the center of the bottom bar there is a hard plastic tab that you grasp with your fingers. Take this tab between your fingers and gently go up or down and the shade follows.

They use a spring gear to cause this to happen very smoothly, just like cutting soft cheese. No more trying to grab the cord in the right spot, you just grab this little tab and do your thing.

4.Cordless Roman Shades Stay Straight.

One of the biggest drawbacks to roman blinds has been trying to keep the shade straight. Sometimes it would seem like it was impossible to keep the shade straight.
