Cool Sites For Punk Photographers Could Make You Money!

Recently I was asked by a friend of mine who is really into punk photography to search online for some punk alternative models and Goth models websites. This seems like an easy enough feat considering it is the Internet. But really I think the site you choose is going to really depend on what kind of site you want to "work" for. One of the websites I found online offered a free membership to its photographers and models, plus they also had a voting option for members.

This is really nice because you pretty much volunteer to submit your work if you are a photographer or a mode, but with the voting option you are going to have members vote for your specific "set" and if you win you can win money! Yes, actually money! Pretty awesome if you start to think about it. This could be really great for the new photographers that are just getting into the scene and want to try out their different types of art on various people. Plus, it gives you a chance to "shine" and really show off your work.

This could end up leading to more lucrative jobs, and I'm sure if the website owner was asked, he would write out some sort of a letter for you stating that you won the vote. Or you could even just include it on your resume that you entered in a content for punk photographers to shoot hot emo models, punk alternative models and Goth models and you won! Every little bit of positivity helps when you are tyring to out beat the competition when it comes to ANY profession, but especially photography because there are so many people that are awesome at this gig.

Some of the other sites online may not have contests, but they might offer to sell your art on their website. If you do find a site like this, make sure you get some kind of a royalty percentage per photo sold. Even if it's a small percentage, if it's an awesome photo it could very well pay next months rent for all you know! I checked out some of these sites online along with some of the photos and I can definitely see this being something that could become a full-time job.

The great thing that I really liked about the alt models was that it's not the same old stuff you see in every other magazine in the country. It's different - its "alternative" for sure. Personally, I can't stand reading a lot of magazines nowadays because all you see is your typical model. What about those of us that want something different?!? In comes you! You can provide people with an amazingly tasteful and respectful photograph that is really going to WOW them and now? You can actually get paid for doing so! Bravo! Check out some of these websites online, who knows what opportunities may become available to you!
