Cooking Or Dining Out?

Cooking Or Dining Out?

By:

You think hard what to wear so that your date will notice you. You decide on what make up to wear and whether to wear your hair up or down. You go to the spa to relax and relieve yourself of stress. But before you go on with the preparation, you must decide first how you're going to spend your date? Will you have dinner in a fancy restaurant or cook your date's favorite food?

Here are some tips to help you decide.

If you have money, dining in a fancy restaurant is fine. But choose the restaurant carefully. Don't go for noisy and crowded places. Look for restaurants far from the city because they usually serve good food at a cheaper price. Plus, the ambience is good because it's far from the fast-paced atmosphere of the city.

When dining out, think of your date's favorite dishes. Make sure that he/she likes the food the restaurant is going to serve. But don't forget about your own food. And when you order food, choose dishes that are not so heavy in the stomach so that your date won't be too full when you take a walk.

Dining out also saves you the time and effort in preparing for the date. You won't have to dirty yourself while cooking and setting up your house for the event.

But cooking for your date also has its advantages. It will have a personal touch and your date will realize that you invested time and effort to make your date successful.

Cooking your own food will also save you money. If you're short on budget, just buy the ingredients and do the cooking yourself. If you're not a cook, just dine out. Or choose recipes that are easy to prepare. They're a lot of ideas on the Internet. A steak, a salad and cold wine will do.

Cooking for your date will give you a chance to cook what you to eat/serve, unlike dining in a restaurant where you have to choose from their menu. What if you don't like the foods they have on the menu? You'll be stuck with what they have. But if you cook, you decide what to cook. Above all else, you'll be able to impress your date with your culinary skills. That's another good point for you.

But however you want to spend your date, don't forget the wine and the music. Wine is a good appetizer and music will set the atmosphere. After eating, have a little chat while sipping wine. Ask your date about his/her day and try to make the conversation light. Don't talk about serious topic because it will just ruin the mood. Most importantly, make your date laugh. It just means that he/she is having a good time.
