Conventional Pay Scheme Or Pay Rent Online, Which Would You Choose?

Leasing apartments comes with a responsibility. As a tenant, you are tasked to comply with the rules and regulations established by the property manager. In the same manner, you are expected to pay your dues whenever it is due. You can do this either conventionally or otherwise through pay rent online. It all depends on you.

If you choose to pay your rent and other fees in the conventional manner, you must know that it entails a lot of things. First, it requires you to manually keep up with the dates when you are supposed to pay for your rent. You can do this by marking your calendar at home or by placing a reminder in your cell phone. Second, it demands most of your time since youll have to wait for your landlord to come over and collect the rent. And if he owns more than a dozen rental units in the apartment community, then you can expect that it will take him quite a while before he reaches you. Lastly, youll have to withdraw money and carry cash as it is the only form of payment he or she is going to accept. So, with the conventional manner of paying for your dues, youre going to need as much patience as you can since it does not include a resident portal.

On the other hand, pay rent online is fast and easy. Unlike the traditional way where you are expected to wait, this new method of payment discourages this old habit. Renters can simply pay for their rent and other fees any time and in any day for as long as it does not elapse the due date. Because the landlords wont have to visit the apartments every month, renters are not obligated to wait for them. They can pay their rent in advance if they like or pay on time using their credit card or electronic check. Cash, therefore, is unnecessary. Furthermore, every payment they make is recorded in the systems resident portal giving them a full report about their monthly payables. It will help them determine if they have missed payments and if so, how much more they still need to pay. All these would only take a few minutes enabling renters so renters can continue doing other important things.

To sum up, how you pay your dues is a personal choice. You can either pay in the conventional manner or pay rent online by means of resident portal. The choice is yours to make so make it count. Would you choose to stay with the old fashioned way that requires you to wait or would you choose a faster and more efficient one that has already anticipated your needs?
