Content Syndication For Beginners

By:

Content syndication is one of the best ways to improve your search engine ranking to get more traffic. The basic goal of content syndication is to increase the number of high quality sites that link to your page, because the more links you have coming back to your site, the better off you will be on the internet.

One of the easiest ways to get started with content syndication is to write articles for free article distribution websites. It doesn't have to be long and drawn out--in fact, most articles sites limit the words count between 400 and 700 words. This balances out to about a page, or a little over a page written in 10 point font. It may seem like a lot to produce at first, but once you get some practice, you'll be able to write an article in an hour or so.

If you're writing about a topic you are particularly passionate about, you'll notice that the words practically fall onto the page. Writing with passion is a good thing, because if you feel this strongly about the subject, chances are, others out there feel the same, and your article will likely strike a chord with them, which helps you gain their trust.

This article is not the time focus on promoting yourself and to talk about how great you are. Instead, give the reader some information or advice they didn't know about before reading your articles.

At the end of your article, most article distribution sites will allow you post a healthy "author's bio" portion, which is where you will include any fantastic information about who you are and what you've accomplished, along with links to your website or blog. It's a good idea to keep this information the same or very similar in all of the articles and content you distribute around the web, because it will help to reinforce your online reputation as an expert in your field.

Make sure that the combination of the high quality information in your article as well as your bio is compelling enough to get the reader to click over to your website to find out oven more about you. This is called a "call to action" and no piece of syndicated content is complete without it.

When you're finished writing, check and double check for errors, and then submit to article submission websites. The more content you produce, the more you do for building your internet brand and online reputation, which will help your business to grow.
