Sheesham wood has a naturally beautiful grain, which gets better with age. Both these materials lend themselves to machining and intricate carving, lending an exquisite look to the final piece. Thus Sheesham and mahagony fulfill requirements in terms of style, versatility and functionality.

While selecting a material, please consider the location of the unit. Living room units are more elaborate and heavier while units in other areas like the dining room and bedrooms are smaller and lighter in weight. You may also need to consider the unit in conjunction with the lighting in the room and also evaluate the impact of the light and heat generated by the television on the material of construction of the unit. Then, you can make certain, that like your TVs, your contemporary TV units are also a feast for the eyes.
