Aneurysm or blood clot. This is another form of a serious complication related to untreated sinusitis. Although developing aneurysm from a sinus infection is a very rare case, still this must not be taken for granted. Although rare, aneurysm may still happen. The symptoms of aneurysm are similar with that of the orbital infection. The difference is that the signs and symptoms initially start at one side of the head.
