When I watched the first and second episodes of
The Vampire Diaries, I almost gave up, because it is too boring, like pirated + slow version of Twilight, but it awoke my interest in the third episode, and the fourth episode. Although Twilight inspired should come from
The Vampire Diaries (although inspired by Stephenie Meyer who claims to own their own occasionally do a dream). The Vampire Diaries was first published in the 90's, that is, Stephenie secondary era, so I'm sure she had read three books.
However,
The Vampire Diaries TV show series has a huge gap compared o the orginal book. The Vampire Diaries's original actress Elena is best-looking character in the school, having a lot of boyfriends + pursues. After Stefan came, Elena took him as her next goals, but Stefan always seemed to ignored Elena which aroused curiosity and challenge to Elena...As a series of Heroic rescue, blah blah blah, Elena finally discovered, tefan loved her, but he was afraid to lose control if they were getting too closed...
The difference between Twilight and The Vampire Diaries is that, Bella is not a very conspicuous girl, she is extraordinary, hands and feet are not coordination. But the main male characters of the two books are the same, handsome, handsome vampires, suffering by their nature and fate.
I like the story of The Vampire Diaries by Katherine, Stefan was given a reason to fall in love with Elena. I think Twilight for my biggest regret is, why did Edward so definitely believe Bella is his lifelong love, just because he could not do through Bella's mind?
The two main characters of Twilight are also very good, but I don't like their makeup. Rob's make-up is too pale, occasionally I can see behind his ears and necks white powder not added, revealing black line. In my humble opinion, make-up artist should not be too rigidly description of appearance in the novel.
A common feature between Twilight and TVD is,the description of sex is not so exposed. Hope TV series writer capable of adhering to the spirit. I love
True Blood at first, but when the play became a small town where every humanbeing (and non-) after a random permutation and combination between fornication, I started to lose interest in
True Blood.
