Commercial Park Benches

By:

Commercial park benches are industrial-strength benches that office parks, municipal parks, rest stops, school playgrounds, water parks, theme parks, and even public sidewalks use for multi-person seating areas. These structures are constructed out of with galvanized, heavy-duty metal.

They are manufactured in six basic construction patterns, and they can be mounted to the ground with any one of three different methods.

Purchase these benches in any one of 16 available colors. Choose between five different styles of lettering to stylize logos, dedications, commemorations, names, and messages that need to stand out.

The intention behind making commercial park benches in so many different color options is to make them aesthetically complimentary to building architecture and landscaping design.

After all, function can be achieved by any outdoor seating, but true form requires an equal focus on appearance as well as performance to truly make the investment worthwhile. Basic colors include reds, blues, and greens. More exotic colors include sandstone, burgundy, granite, and teal.

Each bench proves consistently durable under a wide range of tough conditions. This is greatly due to a protective thermoplastic coating that covers the bench. This coating makes the unit more vandal resistant, rust resistant, resistant to extreme temperatures and rains, and theft resistant. It also prevents colors from fading, peeling, and delaminating.

Six different construction patterns ensure that commercial park benches will be able to withstand the stress of specific environments and applications.

1.The Diamond Pattern features 11 Gauge vertical slats crisscrossed by diamond shapes.

2.The Expanded Metal features 9 Gauge steel slats arranged in a criss-cross pattern.

3.The Perforated Metal Build is a solid piece of 11 Gauge steel drilled with one-half inch holes on staggered centers one inch apart

4.The Rod Style, like its name indicates, is made with one-half inch steel rods welded to their frame.

5.The Wire Style is made with heavy-duty wire crisscross welded to the frame and form shaped to the bench.

6.The Welded Style consists of individual, formed strips that are welded together to create the shape of the bench.

Three mounting styles make it possible to firmly secure commercial park benches in any environment.

Portable mounted benches are not anchored to any surface.
They benches can be placed on rotundas, sidewalks, patios, and pathways and moved at will when necessary.

Surface-mounted benches are anchored into concrete or wood. This makes them theft resistant, permanent fixtures on the landscape or patio. Holes are drilled into the concrete beneath the bench. Bolts and anchors pass through discs that are welded to the bench's understructure so it can be secured in place.

In ground mounted commercial park benches are buried in ground using concrete anchoring. When there is no concrete on which to mount a bench, it must be buried in a hole filled with wet concrete.

These units feature an understructure consisting of an extra 18 inches of pipe that extends downward with a flatbar welded to its bottom. This is lowered into the holes containing the concrete, where it hardens and sets in the ground.

The thermoplastic powder coating that is used to protect commercial park benches is both super effective and environmentally safe. It protects the bench against corrosion. As a super adhesive substance, it will not crack or peel. It is also resistant to warping and discoloration.

It is resistant to warping and cracking, and it will not peel or discolor in the sun. If the thermoplastic is deliberately vandalized by cutting, it can be easily repaired by using an industrial heat gun. The coating will automatically melt back into itself. Standard industrial cleaner is all that is needed to keep it looking polished and brand new.
