Dance is exhilarating. It is a series of steps and body movements that tune rhythmically to music. Dance is a form of entertainment that keeps our mind fresh and lively giving us new vigor and energy to lead a good life in this busy world.

No one is born a dancer! Those who have talent and are eager to learn dancing can easily learn the art of dancing from dance teachers and grow to be a great dancer no matter when they start. Every region in this world has a typical dance style that represents the culture and tradition of society. It is the involvement of the body and the mind that brings life to dance, the expression and the graceful artistic movement fills us with joy and happiness.
Dance is all about creativity; the more creative it is the more it fascinates people. Waltz, disco, tango and Salsa dance are some of the many forms of dance accompanied by music with artistic gestures.

Never ever have her friend ask the girl you wish to dance with on behalf of you. That will only make matters worse. Approach her face to face and ask her courageously. Proper dress code is also very important in dance. Dress nicely. You need not be perfect because she should like you as you are. Earlier it was a tradition that men asked women for a dance, but now times have changed! Women should not hesitate to ask a partner for a dance, this is now accepted even in a formal gathering. It is desirable that we should make direct eye contact with whom we wish to dance. Vague expressions have no face value. One should ask the person who is in the mood to dance, someone who is enjoying the party and may wish to join you.

Good etiquette is preferred in social dancing. A smile costs nothing, have a pleasant attitude, make your partner feel comfortable with you and enjoy the moment to the fullest! Dance etiquette encourages us to dance with different people on the dance floor. When you are in a social gathering, take the opportunity to dance with a host of partners rather than monopolizing one. This is the best way to have fun dancing socially!
