So why does integrity matter when it comes to website marketing in Columbia, MO?

For me, integrity matters because I don’t want to be viewed as just the typical internet advertising, or internet marketing guy who is there just to sell his service to a customer. The bottom line for me is, if I’m not producing and making your business more profitable, getting you more leads and more customers, or at least making your advertising more profitable, then why would you want to pay me?

I don’t want someone to pay me because they feel obligated to because there is a contract that forces them to. I don’t want business owners to worry that if they don’t pay me, they’re in violation of a contract. The contract doesn’t matter. My contract is the shake of a hand.

I want to know that when a business owner writes me a check for my service, they are doing so gladly. I want them to be happy to write me a check because what I am doing is providing an increase to their profits. My goal is to help the business owners who get to work with me, build their business using the techniques and skills that I have.

Integrity also is reflected in who I chose to business with. What I mean is if I get hired by someone who owns a plumbing business and I help them increase their business 5%, 10%, 20% then that great. I may have just taken that plumber and helped them grow from a small business to a medium sized business. And maybe because of the work I am doing for him, he’s able to hire 2 or 3 new employees. Well I just did something to help better my community.

That’s important to me. So integrity becomes important from the stand point of not doing that for a competing business. If I take my service across the street and do the same thing for another business, I haven’t done any good for my first client. All I am doing is potentially hurting his business by helping his competition increase their percentage of the available market.

Most advertising companies do just that. They will help you, but they will also help your competition. Once they do something that brings great results for you, they are very likely to do the same for other clients they have in the same industry. I don’t think that is the best way to help a local business owner.

I only work with one business in a given industry niche. Once I decide to work with a client, they are the only client I will work with in their industry, and in their market. Once I decide to work with a business owner, I am going to help them dominate the marketing for their industry. My goal is to make that business the one that people trust and want to do business with.

That to me is what integrity is all about when it comes to website marketing in Columbia MO.
