Coffee In The Morning, Afternoon And Evening

Coffee In The Morning, Afternoon And Evening

Why do some people think the beautiful brown liquid called coffee is just a morning pick me up. Coffee comes in de-caffeinated as well and can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

I LOVE coffee, and drink it all the time. I try a variety of brands and flavors. Coffee has antioxidants, and there are some coffees like Journey Gourmet Quality Coffee with Acai and Goji berries that infuse the Acai and Goji berries into the coffee beans to add more antioxidants without changing the flavor of the coffee. This is a fantastic coffee, and I thoroughly enjoy it.

For many years I was purchasing pre-ground coffee beans from the store, as I did not own a grinder. I went to a friends one morning for a visit and she gave me a cup of some of the best tasting coffee I had ever had. I asked about it, and she told me that she ground her beans as she needed them; this made the coffee taste very fresh with each and every cup. Well this made complete sense, so when I left that day I went straight to Target and purchased my first coffee grinder. Everything else is history.

I have been grinding my own beans ever since and trying new ones when I find them. I do have my favorites and try to always keep a supply of those on hand, but if you love coffee and you want to exercise your palate you have to try other beans quite often.

Coffee is undoubtedly the best beverage ever produced by man. The coffee plant is grown in over 70 countries; this is the reason for the different flavors and the vast variety that you can find.

Kona coffee is only grown on the island of Kona in the Hawaiian Islands. Not all Kona coffee is the same; one extra fancy is, Peaberry Kona Coffee. Peaberry is the rarest of the rare among Kona Coffee beans. Only about 5% of the Hawaii coffee crop produces Peaberry coffee beans. The Peaberry's bean roasts evenly and intensifies the Kona Coffee flavor

Costa Rica is known for its gourmet coffee, and it is grown at an altitude of 1200 to '1700 meters, where lower quality coffee is grown below 1200 meters.

Sumatra has a rich, full bodied consistency with chocolaty tones. Many regard it as some of the best drinking coffee in Indonesia.

Java has some of the finest Arabica beans, grown at 4500 feet. Wet-processed java Dutch estate beans have an intense flavor, a wonderful aroma and a chocolate overtone.

Sulawesi coffee is reckoned to be a low-acid coffee with lots of body. Some drinkers find that it is similar to Sumatra.

Bali, yes, the Tourist resort, also hand picks and sorts their beans. The altitude makes for a coffee with a mild flavor and light body that is an international favorite with coffee lovers.

(India)Mysore Gold Nugget beans, these are rare beans grown in the gold mining region, smooth light body flavor and taste. India only exports 2/3rds of its coffee and a small amount goes to the US.

Answer.com gives this as the answer to my question, which soil does coffee grow in? Friable loam soil with a high humus content. What the heck does that mean?

Friable = A friable substance is any substance that can be reduced to fibers or finer particles by the action of a small pressure or friction on its mass, such as inadvertently brushing up against the substance.

Loam is soil composed of sand, silt, and clay in relatively even concentration (about 40-40-20% concentration respectively). Loam soils generally contain more nutrients, and retain water easily.

Humus - the organic constituent of soil, usually formed by the decomposition of plants and leaves, some call it living soil, it contains various soil bacteria, beneficial fungus and earthworms, which support the all-important humus. Humus provides a reservoir for the plant nutrients available in the soil for balanced plant growth

Well that makes it clearer, for me anyway, I hope it helps you understand how important soil is in the growth of quality coffee, as well as the height that the coffee is grown. The higher the altitude the better the coffee beans.

You can find good coffee beans everywhere, whether its a brick and mortar store or online. I have had a great time online finding new and exciting coffee beans and its easy to order them. You need to purchase a good grinder, and a good espresso machine or coffee machine. I prefer the espresso machine, most coffee pots use paper filters, and for years I thought that was the best, until I tried the rest; I made a rhyme - HA! Ok now, moving on after a quick little giggle.

About the Author:
Paper filters remove the essential oils that carry most of the antioxidants whereas the espresso machine doesnt use a filter. This makes the Espresso Machine environmentally friendly also, so go to http://www.coffee-mavin.com and check out the variety of tools that can make your next cup of Joe an amazing experience.
