Coaching Tools: Attract The Right People To Your Coahing Business With Social Media Marketing

By:

Social media is a wonderful free tool that you can use to drive traffic to your site and your offers. But you must treat it and the people using it with respect and kindness.

Don't make the common mistakes that others make when starting out in social media. The idea is to be of service to others and find common interests so that you can build relationships where people know, like and trust you. Because people will not coach with you until they know, like and trust you so build the relationship first.

Lets review some common social media mistakes that many coaches make so you can avoid them.

Going for Large Numbers and Being Impersonal

When you are networking on line, you need to network with people you can team up with to attract similar clients. It is very easy and profitable to develop online joint venture partners who are targeting the same niche you are. It is good to have a large number of followers and friends but it is best to have a targeted group, that are interested in what you have to offer.

Autoresponders and autofollow systems are not the best way to go because you don't know who you are following and it lacks the personal touch that makes social media effective. Some online marketers get an ego boost out of having large numbers of followers and friends but if they are not interested in what you have to offer then it is nothing more than an ego trip.

No Attractive Content

It is best to provide original content that is targeted to your coaching niche. Your content must provide information that your audience is interested in and eager to consume. People pay attention and are happy to read content that is targeted and useful. It is not a good idea to use content that is reworked from others or is commonly available anywhere. Be original and creative and you will attract many coaching clients to you. Take a unique perspective on a topic and find out what people are interested in rather than just filling up space.

People are always interested in things that help or relate to them. If your content is directed at helping others solve problems or overcome challenges then you will develop a large following of people who are interested in what you have to offer.

Remember it is called social media for a reason. You must provide information that people are interested in and you must be interested in others before they will be interested in you. Make it your priority to serve and help the people you come upon in social media. Be a give long before you make an offer.
