Cloud Computing How It Works

Cloud computing can be described as the ideal enabling model that offers access to an on-demand network environment within a shared pool of configurable resources. Network pool comprises of servers, applications, networks, storages, and services. The working of a cloud computing involves a minimal management and Service provider interaction. The whole cloud computing exercise will involve the provision of software, data access, computation and storage services which do not require the end user to have adequate knowledge of the configuration that provides the services.

Cloud computing can be used in describing the newest delivery model for Information technology services, Internet protocols are used in providing scalable and virtualized resources which provide ease of access to remote computing websites, it also include the use of web based tools and applications through which users can access with the help of a web browser.

Cloud computing services are provided by service providers which deliver some online business applications which can be accessed through a web service or software and the data obtained are stored on servers. Built-on servers and common servers are the medium through which cloud computing infrastructures deliver their services. The customers or end users will need service level agreements {SLAs} in order to secure a relationship with a cloud computing service provider.

The basic components of cloud computing include; Autonomic computing features, Grid computing , client server model, Main frame computer, peer-to-peer, Utility computing, and service oriented computing.

The main feature of cloud computing is that the computing services is in a cloud which means, the processing of data and all other activities are no done in a static place. Cloud computing is different from other similar services where different computing are done in more than one specific servers.

The architectural design of cloud computing comprises of four components- Cloud services, Cloud Platform, Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud storage{ for instance- database}. The cloud architecture is involved in the delivery of cloud computing services, the architecture controls how multiple cloud components communicate with one another, and they communicate over the application programming interface. Complexities are much better controlled through cloud computing.

The most prominent component of cloud computing architecture is the front end, and the back end. The computer user or client have access to the front end, the front end includes the clients networks and the applications used while the back end is the cloud computing itself. Back end includes the data storage devices, computers, and servers.
