He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and he has been involved in more than 200 private company transactions that have varied from start-ups, owner managed companies and FTSE enterprises. He has had significant experience in initiating and executing acquisitions and disposals of companies. His clients have benefitted immensely from his advice in management buy-out and buy-in along with debt and equity financing transactions for his clients.

Clive Sanford has worked with many up and coming entrepreneurs and management teams to advise them on developing strategy for a successful business plan. He has guided his clients on how to raise debt and equity finance and acquisitions and sales of private companies. Clive established his own advisory firm in 1991 after he had worked with Robson Rhodes as a Corporate Finance Partner. He earned extensive experience in buying, selling and raising finance as a Group FD of a private equity funded £20 million group. In recent years, he has turned his focus on transactions in the £1m-£20m enterprise. He has also worked in over 150 deals in last twenty years, which had value as little as £50,000 and as much as £80m.
