Clearing Up Acne Try Use Home Remedies

About 80% of teens are affected by acne to some degree, and it sometimes even occurs in adults up to the age of 40 if not treated properly. The image on the right shows an individual suffering from a moderate amount of acne on the face. Acne is a skin disorder caused by plugged pores of the skin. Human skin has a middle layer called the dermis which is made up of hair follicles and sebaceous glands. These glands produce an oily substance called sebum that is used to naturally moisturize and lubricate the skin. The face, back, chest, and shoulders contain a large concentration of these glands. Using home remedies to treat acne can work. Many of these home remedies for acne have been proven to work.

1. Essential oil face mask for acne: Use a mask base powder, such as fuller's earth or kaolin powder. Use distilled or filtered water to make a paste. Mix 1 heaped teaspoon of base powder to 3 drops of essential oil. Add approximately 2 tablespoons of the water in, to make a fluid yet balanced paste. Essential oils to add in the mask either separately or try smaller amounts together; cypress oil 1 drop, lemon oil 2 drops, sage oil 1 drop.

2. Cucumber is refreshing and helps to prevent acne. To make a cucumber mask, blend a cucumber to make a paste. Apply on face and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash face with warm water.

3. Keep your skin clean: Try to wash your skin regularly, and after you clean it rinse it thoroughly with lukewarm water to take out any soap residue. Also use an oil-free facial cleanser, and avoid any soap with oil or any other irritating substance.

4. Japanese scientist found that rooibos tea helps to cure acne, which is also one of the home remedies to cure acne. The extract of rooibos tea is mixed with water and washing the face regularly. Applying sandal wood paste or lemon juice or mint juice are the home remedies to cure acne. Avoiding oily food, high sugar content food, and chocolates are home remedies to cure acne.

5. Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.

6. Another popular home treatment uses apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar has long been lauded for its health benefits, including acne. To use, simply dilute the apple cider vinegar, one part vinegar to eight parts water. If possible, use high quality apple cider vinegar and purified water. To use, wet a cotton ball with your apple cider vinegar mix and gently moisten your skin. Dont overdo it. Apple cider vinegar is strong stuff that can dry out your skin, resulting in even more breakouts.

7. Neem is also known as wonder herb. Neem is one of the best home remedies to cure acne, as we can see results with in few seconds by applying paste of neem on affected area. Basil (tulsi) is one of the important home remedies to cure acne. It has lots medicinal value it will clear all skin disorder.
