Vintage dresses have gradually evolved through years from the classic day time collections to trendy and modern collections to suit the demand of todays world.
Vintage dresses will always be classic as the dresses worn by women in that era not only made them look classy but they also carried their style with grace.

In todays fast food world, modern woman has changed and so has their need for fashion. Todays women need dresses that suit their daily routine and also make them look trendy.
In earlier times women had lots of time getting ready for parties or occasions and so they could wear those classic dresses which consumed a lot of time and also needed assistance. Here we are talking about the time from 1930s to 1970s.

Vintage dresses are more expensive than modern day dresses, as they are one of a kind and the older they are, more rare they get and as rare items are expensive, so are the vintage dresses.
There are vintage stores where you can find these vintage dresses mix them up with todays jewelry designs and shoes as this is not only an innovative idea but will definitely make you look stylish.

Since 70s women clothing has noticed a complete change as compared to vintage clothing.
The evolution of tight dress with metal zips was the new fashion trend. Everything from fabric to designs to patterns had changed and that was the time when the fashion was being defined and designed.

The Legendary 60s.
It was a fashion defining decade which invented polka dot dresses and polka dots with metal and silver combination and then there were velvet and crepe dresses with the all new lace work of that time.
This was the era of rocknroll and swing 60s, but is always remembered as the swinging 60s as Elvis Presley almost started rolling in the late 60s i.e. 68, which is remembered as his comeback year. It was the decade when women would go for night outs looking gorgeous in all glamorous dresses.

Cotton was the fabric of the 50s as it did not need much maintenance and dresses designed from cotton were comfortable yet trendy.
The famous black dresses of the 50s which were a big craze at that time were designed using cotton.
The short black dress with designs and patterns was something that almost every alternate woman wore during that time.
Before the 50s the dresses that were in fashion were the famous gowns like ball gowns for wedding occasions, strapless vintage gowns were also a fashion during 50s.

From 1930 to 2011 fashion has completely changed but the vintage collection has always inspired designers to present innovative ideas and create new fashion trends.
Its not only the designs but also the fabric that has changed today; as the designers get more innovative and fashion industry keeps making progress the fashion will always keep changing and if you want to be fashionable and trendy then you have to change with time and follow the latest trend.
