At Lamb of God Lutheran Church, our Pastor Philip Houser - rightly proclaims Gods Word in his well crafted Sermons. We glorify God with traditional Liturgy and vestments, weekly confession and absolution of sins and weekly Holy Communion. We also enjoy lively fellowship and Bible study.

And were great with education. We feature small classroom sizes for children of all ages. We focus on Christian education basics and Pastor Houser does an outstanding job with our confirmation classes. He believes in an emphasis on Luthers small catechism, with lots of memory work. One mom called his confirmation class amazing.

Lamb of God Lutheran Church Omaha is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and therefore we emphasize the centrality of the Means of Grace or in other words; the Word of God and the Sacraments. We teach the Gospel in all its truth and purity and we administer the Sacraments according to Christ's command.

Being a Church Omaha and a Lutheran Church Omaha means were in touch with the local community. Our German Fest each March typically draws a few hundred people with the promise of authentic German Food and music. We also participate in Papillion Days amongst other events.

And very important were a family and we care about and love each other. We look after each other physically and spiritually. We pray and worship together of course. But we have fun and enjoy each others company in Saturday morning Bible study, Wednesday evening classes and Saturday and Sunday worship.

As Lutherans, we believe in justification by Gods grace though faith. We believe Jesus Christ did all the work of salvation for us by His death and resurrection and that His Holy Spirit works within our hearts. If youre hurting in any way, come hear the Gospel. We promise you wont be disappointed.

Our services are Saturday evening at 5:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 9 am. We have fellowship at 10 am Sundays and our adult Bible study and Sunday school starts at 10:30 Sunday morning.
