Christian Marriage: Will This Dependency Make You Weak?

By:

Today most of us think twice (even perhaps three times) before many of us count on nearly anything or anyone even inside our Christian marriage, but is dependence harmful. God calls us all to remain dependent on Him and also our husband or wife. Even the biggest and most successful businesses have learned that getting work done in project groups produces much higher accomplishments in both innovation and efficiency.

Now inside Christian marriage, how come it make us really feel uneasy to discover we're reliant? Will we not really depend upon The Lord who created marriage as well? Everyone will ultimately rely on a person in life whether they are ecstatic to stay in such a partnership or not. Why not decide on your mate?

My most memorable successes in married life are actually the result of our team work. As a husband, I cannot take care of my family physically and supply for them financially at the same time. As I attempt, it simply creates an internal strain that can not be handled.

'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. -Alfred Lord Tennyson

Although many of us have listened to the romantic quote above, We simply reference it as being a familiar quote since it leaves us with little personal meaning as most people fear the act of truly engaging in love even after we are married.

True stableness will come at the expense of knowing you are dependent on your marriage to be a success. Stability has turned into a luxury many of us have never given our own marriages for many different reasons. We wrestle for many reasons including:
-the admittance that we cannot realize success alone
-the emotional baggage of our previous relationships
-the bondage of previous sexual relationships

As Christians, when we can not believe in God with our well-being, it will be impossible for us to trust our own mates. Christian marriage was built by God to be the best form of companionship. In many instances, our marriages erode away because we make an attempt to succeed without God whenever things are going well and gradually without each other whenever tough times threaten, however divorce is not easy either. Do not be deceived!

It really is incredible the way time and experience changes a person (and ideally for the better). There had been a time when I was confused with the idea of renewing our vows". Now each time I attend another wedding ceremony, I am reminded that Christian marriage is really a lifetime commitment that has to be renewed to both our mate and God each day.

As Christians, when we end this commitment and go through with separation and divorce, it will be painful for all necessary. This is why God merely permits it under certain circumstances, but in no way advises it as His will for all of us. Marriage ought to give to us some confidence that we are going to have a mate through the years right up until the end. Isn't that what you vowed? There is no relationship so reputable. That's the reason our Christian marriage is significant for all of us.

Challenge: Today, Step up to the plate! In your very own words, tell your own spouse that you will be dependent on them and God to achieve success in life!
