So, you and your special lady are getting ready to celebrate some upcoming special occasion. Maybe a birthday or anniversary--and hey, Christmas isn't too far away either.

You want to get her something really special and memorable that will get plenty of use, especially in bringing you two closer together. Sweet and sassy lingerie is a great way to give a private gift that will do just that for you and your wife.

Once you settle into married life, it can seem like the fireworks you once enjoyed in the bedroom start fading into dying sparks. After all, you have tons to worry about--getting the kids to school, walking the dog, plus making sure the project for work is finished and submitted to your boss on time. Ugh!

So it's up to you to reignite those sparks. But when you go out to making your all-important purchases, make sure that you have all the correct measurements. If you want to go the sly way, try going through her drawers to peek at the labels on her favorite pieces. (That means you have to pay attention when she makes exclamations like, "Oh, I love this bra--it's so comfortable!").

If you still aren't confident enough to make your purchases on the sly, it's okay to approach your beloved and let her know of your intentions and ask if she would like to come pick out a few nice things with you.

This could be a great bonding experience for you if you come armed with compliments--but you can still let her know which your favorites are.

One thing you need to remember about choosing lingerie is that it doesn't all have to be obviously erotic. What is more important is that your special lady is comfortable and confident--because when she is most comfortable and relaxed, she will be more in the mood to be intimate with you.

Luxurious sateen or even cotton pajamas are a great alternative, especially during those chilly winter months. A lot of women (myself included) don't feel entirely confident in slinky dresses or baby-dolls, but we do feel great when wearing a comfy pair of luxury pajamas and/or a little robe.

If that's the route you decide to take, don't forget other suggestive gifts like massage oil or homemade bedroom-specific coupons. But don't ever push the issue too much. Your want to make your woman feel pretty, relaxed, and loved. That is the best way to get the response you are hoping for so that you can reconnect and feel closer.
