Chinese food, centuries of old recipes passed down through the ages, perfected by the innovation and creativity of the American food industry. Yes, Chinese food may as well be banned in Utah, Montana and in some of the other more conservative states.

This stuff is addictive that is true. Just look at orange chicken, have you ever not ordered that stuff when you were getting food from panda?

Be honest, your friend ordering it and sharing only counts as half credit. But even if there was no orange chicken we would all be slaves to a tyrannical food corporation.

Maybe that is why Mister Kim Jong-il in Korea has such a hold on his country. He just threatens his people with the withdrawal of their authentic oriental food.

I wouldn't be surprised if we all become slaves to Chinese food. If I could eat that stuff every day, I would be content doing just about anything.

I wouldn't even mind building temples or shrines, even if there were whips and slave drivers. As long as I got my fair share of food... well who needs anything else.

We all can agree Chinese food is the best type of food on the planet. But the question is, is it destroying your body and giving you diabetes.

Well there are some good things and some bad things about Americanized Chinese food. First major benefit, that it has above all our hamburger shops, is that they are going to use a lot more natural whole products.

This is a good deal, because all those preservative and additives in hamburgers and French fries are going to eventually kill you. The ingredients that Chinese restaurants have are generally going to be better quality and better for your health.

However many of those recipes come with an outstanding amount of greasy sodium and syrup sauce. Look at the orange chicken, this stuff can have close to 400 calories and around 700 mgs of sodium.

This is going to be much better lunch than a couple of hamburgers at one of your fast food chains. But it still isn't entirely good for you.

However, if you get the white rice and some steamed vegetables, which is a nice option at these places, you can have a well-rounded meal. That is one of the best things about all Chinese food restaurants, fresh veggies can be hard to come by.

All in all, for the level of deliciousness verse healthiness, I would say this food scores high. I would say go for a good 6 to seven Chinese meals every weak, or just one a day if not three.
