The Chinese are in the middle of an unprecedented military buildup. They are beefing up their Navy and Air Force in order to be able to be a viable opponent for the United States. I believe that there is a plan for world domination behind the military buildup. They dont have to fear any known country in the world but if they want to be a world threat that other superpowers will be slow to reckon with they need to build up their forces.
The Chinese have verified that they have just about finished refitting the old Aircraft Carrier that they bought from the Soviets. Remember that Aircraft Carriers are offensive weapons systems. They are designed to project significant power to places around the world. Now there is no way that anyone can honestly look anybody in the eye and say that they honestly believe that this is a defensive buildup.
The name for the carrier is the Shi Lang. It is the first carrier so its primary use will probably be to prepare the Chinese Navy to conduct carrier type operations. I do believe that it is the first of an intended carrier fleet. It will probably be used to train future carrier crews while the rest f the fleet is being built. It will probably also be used as a blue print for the Chinese to use to develop their own carrier fleet. I imagine that once they have completed the first carrier of their own they will already have a trained crew to man it.
The Chinese have also built a stealth aircraft which is patterned after the US built F-22 Raptor. This again is not another defensive weapon. Now the Chinese have the right to build whatever weapon system that they desire but my question is why do you lie and say that a weapon is for defensive use when you know that it isnt. It seems to me that they have some other plans.
I believe that this is the beginning of them developing an infrastructure to produce their own high tech military weapons.
They have been positioning themselves for years to be able to challenge the United States militarily. They have placed themselves in a favorable posture in all areas related to their ability to conduct a total war on the United States. They have positioned themselves to challenge us on land, sea, air, cyberspace, outer space, under the sea and financially. I certainly hope that they dont catch us sleeping one day like the Japanese did with Pearl Harbor.
They could not effectively attack the US with their army because the logistics of a successful land attack. They have the biggest army in the world but the manpower required to project that army across the Pacific Ocean to America is just too much. Once they get here they will have to be sustained with all classes of supplies to include medical treatment, which would be extremely difficult.
Transport ships and planes crossing the Pacific Ocean would be too easy on a target for US missiles and submarines. Many troops would be killed before they can even get to the battle. The Chinese realize this which is why they have concentrated their weapons efforts at destroying US carriers which would keep us from being effective in an offensive war against them. They are concentrating on being able to hole the US off while they systematically conquered the smaller countries in the South China Sea area and built their empire.
