Chevy Might Be Bankrupt But Their Parts Are Not

By:

Over the course of our lives a few things are certain, and having to purchase parts for our Chevys is one of them. From oxygen sensors and transfer cases all the way to transmissions and headlight assemblies, they eventually need to be replaced at some point in the lifetime of our automobiles. Though this may be an unavoidable task, no matter how necessary, it doesnt have to be such a financially draining one thanks to the void being filled by more than capable used auto parts.
You may ask yourself, why buy used? After all theyre just parts waiting to go bad anyway, right?
Survey says: Wrong!

Often times used parts are as good as new ones and can last just as long if they have been properly maintained by their owners or have been refurbished by a capable professional. Many consumers are aware of the financially freeing world of reconditioned or newly machined parts that function to the same quality specifications of their brand new brethren. Not to mention used parts wont leave the same fender bender sized dent in your wallet when its all said and done.
Many consumers have gone and spent countless dollars on new Chevrolet parts and even entire cars when used parts wouldve done the job for hundreds or even thousands of dollars less. To be honest, needing to purchase a transmission or similarly large and expensive part can be terrifying, but compared to its used counterpart in cost and quality, things become a lot less frightening for a buyer.

Purchasing used Chevy parts is also not only user, but environmentally friendly as well. By removing and reusing parts from decommissioned vehicles, the hours and resources that wouldve gone into processing them are drastically reduced. Purchasing used parts for your Chevrolet vehicle isnt as bad as some would think. After all, many of the parts that come in new cars have had life in other vehicles before being used again in current models. Given the obvious cut in cost and the exceptional level of quality, its a wonder why the entire auto industry isnt standardized on used auto parts alone. By purchasing used or refurbished auto parts consumers are not only doing a service to themselves, but the industry and environment as well.
