Cheap Ink Cartridges: The Eco-friendly Computer Accessory

There are many things in the weekly shop that will always be on the list: bread, milk, eggs, etc most of the time will be required by your average shopper, but there are some things that in the modern world have become essentials, maybe not on a weekly or even a monthly basis, but they are essential and are also often overlooked.

One of these necessities is printer ink cartridges. I'm not able to use any statistics here (mainly as I cannot find any and don't have the time to commission a market research company to record such information) but it is fair to say that the vast majority of home computer owners also own a printer.

If you're a printer owner you will surely relate to the all too familiar story of the printer running out of ink just when you need it. And most people will not have had the foresight to buy a spare cartridge for such a moment, mainly because they can be quite expensive from computer or office stores - or the unbranded, universal cartridges from supermarkets are, for want of a better phrase, cheap and nasty.

But with many online retailers now offering cheap ink cartridges, there really is no excuse for not being prepared for when that ill fated orange light starts flashing on the printer and you realise you have no spare ink.

As well as saving you a few quid, which during the current economic climate is essential, cheap ink cartridges are also eco-friendly as they are reused cartridge cases that have been refilled with quality ink or toner. That's why they are cheap.

By opting for cheap ink cartridges that does not mean that you are buying an inferior product, more the contrary as you are saving money on the actual casing and brand packaging - and what is the point in that? You only rip off the packaging and throw it straight in the bin - a complete waste of resources and not good for your carbon footprint, whereas cheap ink cartridges most certainly are.

Buying online also saves you time, effort and your patience. Who wants to queue in a busy store when a couple of clicks of the mouse will have the same effect and save you money to boot?

Cheap ink cartridges are good for the environment, hassle free and - as it says on the tin - cheap, and just as good quality as brand new ink cartridges. No wonder they are selling like hot cakes.
