People of coastal area especially in East Asia consume a large amount of seaweeds. Some seaweed are used as medicine.

There are too many researches conducted on sea food and shown that the nutrients and minerals in seafood can make improvements in brain development and reproduction. It has tinted the role for seafood in the functionality of the human body.
