Badrinath is the Holy town dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is situated at 3155 meters above sea level. This place is that where Lord Vishnu performed absolution and Laxmi became a Badri tree to save Vishnu from any difficulties. According to Indian Mythology Laxmi is a wife of Lord Vishnu.
