Cgg News : Acekard 2i -- How To Upgrade For Dsi V1.4.3 And 3ds V2.1.0-3

We are glad to inform you that AK team finally released the stable Acekard 2i upgrade path for DSi V1.4.3 and of course, it also enhance the stability on 3DS V2.1.0-3E / V2.1.0-3U / V2.1.0-3J.

This update support 3DS2.1 and DSi1.4.3. Please refer to readme file in the package. Please choose update file according to your console. If you're using DSi or DSXL please use ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143.nds to update. I f you're using DSL or DSPhat please use ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143_onDSL.nds to update. Just follow the instructions after you run the update file.

How to upgrade ?

STEPS 1 --- Download upgrade path :
Unzip 'Firmware Update of AK2i for 3DS2.1 and DSi1.4.3' you will then have two files:
flie 1 : ak2ifw_update_3ds_v2_DSi.nds -- For Acekard 2i being upgraded via DSi console with the firmware below 1.4.3
file 2 : ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143_onDSL.nds -- For Acekard 2i being upgraded via DS Lite console / DS Phat

STEP 2 --- Choose the upgrade console ( DSi XL / DSi or DS Lite / DS Phat) :

Tips from CGG for upgrading via DSi

The DSi system firmware must be under V1.4.3

Check your DSi (XL) system firmware by Click 'Setting' on the Main Menu
In the right hand corner of the top screen it will say VER 1.X

Upgrade procedure arranged by CoolGadgetsGift editor as below,

It is recommended to format the memory card.
Download the latest AKAIO ( currently it is AKAIO V1.87 )
Install the AKAIO
Copy the file ( ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143_onDSi_NO44.nds )to the root directory of the Micro SD memory card.
Place the Micro SD back into the AceKard 2i Card and insert into DSi XL /DSi(lower than 1.4.3) Console
Select the Micro SD Card icon (from the main operating system on the AceKard 2i Main Screen)

Select the Firmware file ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143_onDSi_NO44.nds
Follow the on screen instructions (Press Start to update) Do not let the power off during the upgrading
Till it shows that the upgrade is successful on the screen, then restart
Complete!! You have a working AceKard 2i with DSi Firmware 1.4.3

Tips from CGG for upgrading via DS Lite/ DS Phat

Format the micro memory card before the below procedures

Select the Micro SD Card icon (from the main operating system on the AceKard 2i Main Screen)
Select the Firmware file ak2ifw_update_3ds21__DSi143_onDSL_NO44.nds
Follow the on screen instructions (Press Start to update) Do not let the power off during the upgrading
Till it shows that the upgrade is successful on the screen , then restart
Complete!! You have a working AceKard 2i with DSi Firmware 1.4.3
