We all have so many kitchen utensil, dishes and accessories that it is hard to imagine that yet another gift for the kitchen would be a good idea.
One exception are handmade and decorated ceramic pottery items.
Most of us own white plates, side dishes, coffee cups and saucers. There is nothing more welcome than adding a bit of colour to it.

spoon rest. How often do we clean up the prep area when putting down wooden spoon and other cooking utensils?
The spoon rest solves that problem straight away, adds a dash of colour to the cooking area while keeping it neat and tidy at the same time.
Garlic is kept in a beautiful rotund deep red ceramic pot, aired so that the garlic does not go bad too quickly. Then one uses the famous for the Mediterranean garlic grater to make the perfect paste for vinaigrette. All of these products are carefully produced, handmade and hand painted by small family potteries in the South of France.
These are all wonderful yet simple gifts for any household. They are good for birthdays, as seasonal presents, suitable for any age group including one"s parents, perfect for wedding gifts or one"s friends who just moved into their first bought home.
To make it even better"..all of the dishes are microwave safe and most of them are dish washer proof. What could be easier!
