In both instances the participants reported that the pain levels and discomfort from gout was considerably less after using celery. Also there were no unwanted side-effects with the use of celery.

3nB in celery works by inhibiting the xanthide oxidase and restricting the production of uric acid in the liver. Celery also contains club nights which can also act as anti-inflammatory drugs. The celery also reduced pain at least in the case studies mentioned above.

All in all, there are a couple of experts that advocate the use of celery to reduce pain and inflammation in gout attacks and there are also a couple of studies that show results that celery can indeed cure gout. If celery does cure gout, it is one of the most natural remedies in the market today. And the problem with celery is that it does not cure gout problems immediately and you will have to take celery for a long time.
