You have a classic round face if the width of your face at your cheekbones is roughly the same distance as the length of your face. You likely have soft, non-angular features and "chubby" cheeks. You may find you have more of a round face when you carry extra weight, but keep in mind many classic round-faced women are super-skinny and still have non-angular features, like Cameron Diaz, in the next picture.

A great option for round faces are long layers. Keep hair longer than the chin and ask for long layers cut into hair.

Gentle waves also deflect the roundness of the face, so if you have natural wave in your hair (as most women do), allow your hair to do its natural "thing." Scrunch hair as it dries so it retains some of its wave or help along the wave by wrapping hair around the barrel of a large curling iron as Kate Winslet's stylist did here.

The hairstyle gallery will host free pictures of hairstyles of all lengths, shapes, and sizes. The hairstyle pictures are categorized into smaller galleries which include pictures of short hairstyles, pictures of medium hairstyles, pictures of wedding hairstyle, pictures of prom hairstyles, and others as well. Latest-hairstyles.com has partnerships with several salons and will continue adding personal hairstyles from these salons in their own gallery. Our wedding and prom hairstyle picture galleries both have styles from a collection of professionals including professional stylist, photographers, and makeup-artist. The goal of the galleries is to have a wide selection of hairstyles for visitors to browse through and come up ideas for their own hairstyles. In the future, each hairstyle will have a styling guide to help with self-styling as well as recommendations of some hair styling products that can be used. The pictures of hairstyles in each gallery will continually grow as more partnerships are formed so be sure to come back and check out the new images frequently.

To Fringe your hair or not to Fringe?

There are no hard and fast rules about hair type or face shape: some people simply do not suit fringes (bangs). It's a very personal thing. If you are thinking of having a fringe but are not sure if it will suit you, or if you fancy a fringe but don't want anything permanent which you will then have to grow out (a big bore), try faking it. It sounds unlikely but it does work!

How Fake a Fringe Hairstyle?
1. Take a section of hair from the crown comb it forwards over your forehead and arrange it as you would a fringe.

2. If you have got long hair, twist it to take away the length before taking it forwards. Adjust the width, length and density as required, then clip it securely just above the crown using a large grip. Alternatively, ask your hairstylist to attach a hairpiece.

3. Leave your false fringe for 20 minutes to get used to it before deciding whether it suits you.
