Celebrity Botox Treatments

I was sitting across from a guy who in my mind was a real life celebrity. The man we will call Mr. B was a successful local concert promoter and club owner, but what most people know him from is a public freak out on MTV's True Life a few years back. Somewhere in between a torrent of swear words he threatened to gut a limo driver (late to drive him and his groomsmen to his wedding) "LIKE A [redacted] FISH!" Now, here he was at the opposite end of MY table at a posh benefit that I felt out of place at. My cohort and I wondered if he had work done. He was thirty-six years old and showed no bit of age. Judging from his star making roll he was not above a bit of stress in his life.

My friend prodded him about this for a while. He asked about wrinkle removal and what his views on laser rejuvenation were. Every question was casually struck down with some variation on "I wouldn't know, I've never done that, I don't think I would do that." When we finally broke ourselves away from the botox treatment inquisition we asked someone who we were told was "in the know." She quietly and calmly assured us Mr. B had had no work done. No laser rejuvenation. No botox treatments. No wrinkle removal. And then she collapsed in laughter.

"Of course he has had botox injections!" She exclaimed. Luckily we were out of ear shot of his very drunk friend who was incredibly excited to tell us about his frequent botox treatments. It seemed strange that he would be so shy about it, his skin looked amazing. Me and my friend were only curious because the wear and tear of age is all over our faces. We wanted to think about doing one of these wrinkle removal things ourselves. As of now we have both done our fair share of botox Dr. research. Honestly, seeing how well that guy wore it, he really opened our droopy baggy eyes.

I for one do not think wrinkle removal is a big deal at all. Everyone wants to look good. No one smack talks when you get yourself a new suit. No one gives anyone business about their new pair of shoes. Haircuts don't make people up in arms. So why should a botox treatment? It shouldn't be who you want to be.
