Celebrities Who Have Had Or Are Rumored To Have Had Facelift

The list of those who have had celebrity facelift surgery is so long it would be impossible to print it here. Some of the celebrities who have had facelifts look completely natural after the procedure. A good face lift gives someone a slightly younger looking appearance and does not look too stretched. Bad celebrity facelift surgery often makes the celebrity look as if they are wearing a bad Halloween costume. Case in point, Mickey Rourke, Robert Blake and Phil Spector.

What do Mickey Rourke, Robert Blake and Phil Spector have in common? No, not murder. They all have had horrific celebrity facelift surgery that has made them look like freaks of nature. While some celebrities have had facelifts that look natural, such as Rupert Everett, others have gone to the wrong doctors for this procedure or have had a face lift one too many times. A face lift should look natural and while some celebrity facelifts are so good that no one knows for certain if they had them, others are obvious.

Mickey Rourke was recently nominated for an Oscar for his performance in the Wrestler, a role that many feel should have earned him the Academy Award, although he lost to Sean Penn. His celebrity facelift surgery, however, was less than stunning than his performance in the film. He does not look natural or even like himself. Mickey Rourke is one example of a face lift disaster.

Robert Blake actually scared people when he came onto the screen after his face lift. The Baretta star, looked completely unlike himself when he appeared in a film and seemed to be almost cartoonish in his appearance. One can only assume that Robert Blake, who was having money problems and unable to find work in Hollywood, went to butcher for his face lift.

Recent mug shots of Phil Spector are enough to frighten small children. He is the poster boy of bad facelifts. In addition to now being convicted of murder, Phil Spector also has to contend with a bad face lift as well as a bad wig.

Good celebrity facelifts are subtle and do not alter the natural appearance of the person who has them. A face lift can give renewed confidence to the person who has the procedure, but only if it is done properly. Celebrity facelifts are usually only noticeable if the celebrity has had a bad face lift that appears to be unnatural and in some cases, downright scary.
