Either the Irish or simply love Irish traditions and holidays, St. Patrick's Day brings Irish cheer to many people in the world. St. Patrick's Day celebration of all things Irish, commemorated on March 17, when many families gather and serve cabbage, corned beef, and a nice mint chocolate pie. In some cities also celebrate the changing body of water in the green color, to remember the beloved St. Patrick.

The festival also enhances the Irish tradition of shopping and wearing T-shirts and clothing, usually a green color. Irish people celebrate by wearing cute clothes and fun accessories to create a holiday humor.

Brief History of St. Patrick's Day

The holiday commemorates St. Patrick, one of Ireland's patron saints. St. Patrick was born into a family of aristocrats and Whales have been moving to the priest. He was captured and taken to Ireland for 16 years, the Irish raiders. Six years he was captive, but was also able to grow spiritually during this time. He believed he heard the voice of God commanding him to leave Hungary, so escaped to Britain after walking hundreds of miles.

Perhaps the most famous legendary story of St. Patrick, that he carried out while the snakes in Ireland. Although this story is probably not true, many people argue that Irishmen in Ireland is not a snake!

Today, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated around the world. Ireland was once a religious holiday, but now raise millions of tourists each year, parades, fireworks, and entertainment. In America there are parades, dance and the Irish jigs, Irish singer, wearing Leprechaun-themed clothing, three-leaf clover, and so on. The holiday is celebrated a day of prayer by many Irish Catholic family. St. Patrick's Day is often referred to by a nickname, St. Paddy's Day. There are also specific products and icons of the holiday, as the loveable Leprechaun Paddy, which can be purchased in various themes, such as Paddy Cop, Firefighter Paddy, Paddy and the Cowboy.
