Cisco Systems introduced a CIUS that can be compared with Apples IPAD; CIUS is a touch screen tablet computer that use Android operating system. Its small in size and is a light weight portable device. Term CIUS reflects the tablet's videoconferencing capabilities. It is a mobile collaboration tool specifically designed for business use, CIUS integrates various business applications such as; Telepresence, WebEX and QUAD etc.
CIUS DEVICE SPECIFICATIONS:
Size and weight:
Cisco CIUS is a 7-inch high resolution wide touch screen device and weighs 1.15lbs (0.52 kg).
Processor:
The CIUS tablet device is powered by an INTEL ATOM 1.6 GHZ processor.
Battery Life:
It has a serviceable and detachable 8 hour battery life under normal usage.
Camera:
It has both front and rear facing camera. With front facing camera you can shoot 720p HD video where as rear facing is a 5MP camera that captures still images and transmit streaming VGA quality video.

Contacts-driven user experience:
With CIUS contact driven user experience users can now easily get to their important contacts in just few seconds.

3G and WIFI services:
CIUS tablet offers Cisco 3G cellular services when off-campus and 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi for enterprise campus mobility.

MICRO USB and BLUETOOTH:
Bluetooth and Micro-USB means users can work and share data with a PC, you can connect to a headset using a Bluetooth or through the micro USB port.

On-board accelerometer:
On board accelerometer is used for viewing in landscape or portrait modes as the user rotates the device to their preferred viewing orientation.
