Men's fashion deals with dress codes for various situations, fashion accessories etc. The kind of dress a person wears and his physical appearance as a result, has a lot of social significance.

It gives an indication of the attitude of the person concerned. Men usually wear formal shirts and trousers as their business attire. During interviews, it is essential that one wears a nice buttoned up shirt and good trousers and shoes to go well with it. Though the restrictions on professional dress codes have been relaxed, men are expected to look presentable to avoid any problem they might face due to it.

Executives generally wear a long sleeve shirt with a good tie, formal pants and lace up shoes during client interactions and board meetings. Whereas CEO's tend to wear suits, and a few extra accessories such as cuff links and expensive watches adds a wee bit of formality. These kinds of dress codes are an integral part of men's fashion.

Now moving on to the dress code for big nights such as the Oscars, Tuxedos are worn by men during such occasions. They are designed in such a way that they give a very rich look and also show off masculine characteristics apart from the traditional look they sport. The most famous men's fashion designers are Versace, Armani, Calvin Klein and the like. These are the people who specialise in tuxedos for occasions such as the red carpet.

One of the fashion examples is Brad Pitt who wore a classical black tuxedo to the Oscar Awards in 2009, which made him stand out among the crowd. For events such as cocktail parties which are most likely to be informal events, men can choose the attire depending upon the season. In case of summer, a light shirt or a tee shirt with khakis is preferred because they go easy with the heat. In case of semi-formal parties, men wear decent enough shirts and trousers, and a suit if required.

Men's fashion also extends to accessories. Belts are worn by rodeo riders who want them to be seen. They can be of many types such as cowboy belts which are worn by young guys. These belts go very well with designer shirts and are worn by men mostly during races and by rodeo stars who have the name and date of the event inscribed on the buckle. Denim caps are another accessory worn by men and these go very well with any kind of casual wear.

These caps are of a very good material and also used by men while playing baseball with their team logos printed on the caps. A cheap but important accessory which men use is the money clip. It is sleek and slim and hence occupies very little space in the pocket and also keeps the cash safe. This can be used as an alternative to the wallet which is much bulkier and expensive in comparison. Men's fashion has thus got a lot of facets to it.
