Cat Toys Versus Dog Toys

Dogs and cats are probably the two most popular types of pets that people have in their homes today. When you look around the shops or go online to look for toys for your pets you will see the vast amount of items that are available for cats and dogs, not just for toys but for general living as well. To give an example here is a list of items that are available for a dog: puppy care for the younguns, dog treats and chews, kennels, ID Tags, dog flaps, dog carriers, collars and much, much more. When it comes to cats the list is just as long including items such as kitten care, cat litter, cat grooming, cat trays, cat bling and so on. So who has it better the cat or the dog? Here is a look at some of the different types of toys for each to see which has the better life, the dog or the cat?

Dog Bones the most popular toy for a dog is of course a bone. Dogs love bones, they love chewing them, they love eating them, burying them, and playing with them. Bones comes in all ranges of shapes and sizes such as plastic bones, flavoured bones, funny shaped bones, large bones etc. Ever heard the expression give a dog a bone? Its because they love them so much.

Toy Frisbies Frisbies are great for the whole family not just for the dog. You can all go to the park and make a day of it, take a picnic and play with the frisbie. A frisbie is a round piece of plastic that you throw and it spins in the air, you then (or the dog) catches the freebie and throws it back, or in the dogs case runs back with it in the dogs mouth.

Bird Swizzle Toys this cat toy is great for them to play with. It has a toy on the end of a piece of string in the shape of a bird, as we all know cats love to chase birds. The idea of the toy is to swizzle the bird around and the cat can chase it around the room.

Paw-In Play these soft toys are great for your cat to let off some steam. The idea of this toy for cats is that they play and throw about the toy as much as they like, they can bite it, chew it, scratch it, and chase it till their hearts content.
