Cash Advance Payday Loans: Myth Busting

By:

In spite of the fact that payday loans and online cash advances are becoming ever more popular than ever for people in need of quick cash credit, a surprising number of people who have heard about them still know very little about how they were. Also there are number of myths surrounding them that simply refuse to go away. Untruths people continue to accept as fact. So then, just what is the truth about these types of loans?

Well not surprisingly with them being called "payday loan sites", perhaps the most common myth of them all is that you absolutely must have a job in order to secure a loan from them. So then what's the truth here? The truth here is that it doesn't have to be a job because it can be pretty much any source of income, just as long as it can be verified. In fact there are sites out there that will lend to you even if you're unemployed.

Still one more common myth regarding these types of cash advances, is that you'll have two weeks, and two weeks only to pay it back. Or in some extreme cases that you can find a site that will give you 30 days to pay it back. The real truth here though, is that sites can give you up to 30 days by law. However, there is a way that some lenders have found to get around this law and that's by simply renewing the loan.

Yet one more all too common misconception is that in order to get an online cash advance you absolutely must have a bank account. Further yet, most people believe that virtually all sites insist on it being a savings account. After all they need to have to have a place to deposit the money, don't they? So the truth here, is that "yes", most sites do require that you have a checking account and that it be at least 90 days old. So then are there any other options?

Simple answer here is yes. There are alternatives now because some sites will issue a loan even if you have neither a standard savings account, nor a checking account. So then how they do it? It's really quite basic. That is that after you've cleared the application process they wire you the money. Then when it's time to pay the loan back, you simply wire them the payment. However, be aware that sites that do this are in the minority.

Then also do keep in mind that these types of loans that don't involve a savings or checking account are going to come with some of the worst turns you can find available. This means that not only will it have higher fees for the loan itself but also because of the unorthodox payment method, you can also expect to be facing a higher penalty fee if you're late on making your loan payment.
