Caring for knockout roses is easy as they are an exceptional breed of rose, widely known for being the most undemanding among all roses variety. It was bred and developed to be a hardy, disease-resistant rose bush adept at surviving in a huge range of conditions and therefore able to be grown almost anywhere. Just like caring for rose bush of other variety, caring for knockout roses takes little time and is straightforward as long as you have a basic understanding of the growing requirements for these virtually carefree rose bushes.

The best time to plant knockout roses is during dormancy between November and April. Knockout roses must be planted in a moist, well-drained soil with a neutral pH balance (6.6-7.5) at least 3 feet apart to make sure the plants will have enough room for growth. Amend the soil by adding organic potting mixture and manure that will promote healthy roots and ensure perpetual growth.

Carefully Water your Knockout roses every morning, just the roots, until fully established. Also remember to feed your Knockout roses with a good natural rose fertilizer once a month to encourage more blooms.

Knockout roses can take care of themselves with regards to deadheading but if you like a clean and tidy look you may have to help a bit. This will also get your Knockout rose to flower even more. However, a yearly pruning in early spring is advised for maximum flowering performance and to manage their knock out look and size.

Caring for Knockout Roses is for everyone and does not require specialised skills. By simply attending to their basic growing needs such as good soil, ample water, abundant sunlight, right feeding and proper pruning your effort will be compensated with lavish amounts of amazing cherry red blooms that will make an impressive display in your garden where they will repeatedly flower all season long.
