Applicants for the position of medical assistants generally require a high school diploma or degree or need to complete a formal program in medical assistance. Experience in relevant healthcare field will be an added advantage. Those taking care of X-rays should have a formal training. It is better to have practical exposure in the field to understand the basics of the job.
