Carbs Will Affect Fat Loss!

Carbs Will Affect Fat Loss!

By:

If you have body fat to shed, and a fair amount of the stuff, you need to put a curb on the amount and type of carbohydrates you consume.

The more body fat you have, the less carbs you should be eating, in the form of bread, rice, pasta and cereals. What you should be doing is eating far more vegetables - the right carbs.

This is not me trying to make your life difficult, unpleasant or lacking in fun. It's me giving you the straight facts if you really want to shed excess pounds - AND it's backed up by science.

Here's how it works, and I'll keep it brief...

When you eat carbs, they're broken down into sugar and released into your bloodstream, causing your blood sugar levels to rise. Your body then produces a hormone called insulin to police your bloodstream and make sure that it's sugar levels don't get too high.

When you eat a meal high in carbohydrates (especially from refined carbs such as white flour foods or processed food), your blood sugar levels rise rapidly and insulin is released to restore the balance in your bloodstream.

Herein lies the problem;

Insulin affects fat burning. It stops it DEAD unless controlled.

A certain enzyme is needed for the breakdown of fat from your fat cells, and insulin affects the production of this enzyme. The more carbs you eat, the higher your insulin levels, and the lower your fat burning efforts.

Quite literally, if you continue to eat a higher carbohydrate diet, and you have excess weight to lose, you can kiss goodbye to any fat loss - FACT!

You NEED to listen to my advice and eat protein and vegetables at every meal. This will stop you eating excess carbohydrates and give your body a chance to do your health a favour and burn fat - LOTS of it, over time.

Stop relying on heavy carbs. For lunch today I had a bed of spinach drizzled in balsamic vinegar dressing, with lightly fried King prawns in a chilli and coriander marinade and a handful of mini asparagus spears. 5 minutes to prepare, tasty, healthy and not a grain or starchy carb in sight.

It can be done. You just have to open your mind to a diet lower in bread or pasta.

The sooner you start, the sooner those excess pounds will start to melt - and the more effective your exercise program will be.
