Car Maintenance For Safe Holiday Traveling!

Well, it is official. The holiday season is upon us and with that means the cold of winter. We would like to take a moment to thank all of our customers who have relied on us for their vehicle maintenance and auto repairs. We wish all of you a safe and happy holiday season. Before you make that trek over the open roads, be sure you have the necessary car maintenance performed to ensure you arrive safely at your destination to spend time with those that mean the most to you.

Holiday travel is one of the most common times for those longer road trips, and with that comes the unfortunate commonality of break downs. We would like you to take the time for some important vehicle maintenance to make sure your holiday trip is as safe as it can be. This is a good time to have a standard courtesy inspection performed to make sure your vehicle is ready for cold weather. As part of our car maintenance service, we will check all of the vital fluids, inspect tires, brakes, steering and suspension to make sure that your vehicle is safe for the open road. Dont forget that oil change!

Even though you have had a vehicle maintenance check-up and your vehicle may have received a clean bill of health, you should still be prepared for the unexpected. This time of year there can be many unfortunate possibilities including bad weather, break downs, accidents, road closures, etc.

A Tip to Remember: Check the contents of your trunk! Every vehicle should have a roadside emergency kit, available at most retailers, discount stores, and auto part stores. Its also a good idea to have a couple of blankets and even some small food sources. Not only are these good for a long road trip, but we would recommend having these items even for your daily commute.
