Canon Imagerunner C3380 - Color Multifuntion Center

For a color laser multifunction production center, the Canon imageRunner C3380 is hard to beat. With 33 pages per minute in black and white and 28 pages per minute in color print speeds, along with full hardware expandability and software upgrades, the unit can be adjusted to suit any particular demand set, no matter what the output requirements are.

With a gigabyte of random access memory built in, and a staggering 80 GBs of hard disk space, the Canon imageRunner C3380 offers storage for not only hundreds of pages worth of personal data, but also an entire array of user friendly and powerful features. A warm up time of 38 seconds for initial start up, and a mere 5.9 second first copy time for black and white, and 8.9 seconds for color, means down time is set at a minimum for the machine, and users will spend less time waiting for projects to begin and more time progressing their workload.

Cutting edge print technology, such as browsing web content directly from the device, is implemented throughout the range of software included with the product. With a dual processor design, the imageCHIP architecture provides extensive power and speed, keeping processing time at a bare minimum. A voice operation kit is available for upgrade, as well as a remote operators software kit, an ADF access handle, and a Braille label kit, along with many other Canon and third party accessories.

An optional 100 sheet automatic document feeder is also available and, if the unit is intended for copy purposes, is more or less essential.

While the standard paper tray can utilize 17 lb bond up to 90 lb index, the bypass tray is less limited, and can automatically load stock up to 110 lbs, as well as other non standard media types such as envelopes, transparencies, and greeting cards.

A platen glass can also be used for scanning and copying single passes of sheets, books, or even three dimensional objects, as long as they do not exceed the weight capacity of 4.4 pounds. Scan and copy resolution both top out at only 600 x 600 dots per inch, but the print engine outputs at a stunning 1200 x 1200 dots per inch on single sided output or double sided, thanks to automatic duplexing.
