Can Your Lack Of Exercise Make You Tired?

Do you feel tired all the time? Does it take everything that you've got to make it through the day? If you answered yes, the first thing that you should do is to see your doctor. Get a complete physical work up to rule out any serious diseases. If your doctor gives you a clean bill of health and you are still feeling tired a lot, it's time to consider another cause for your fatigue. It could be your lack of exercise. This article will examine the reason why your lack of exercise can make you feel tired all the time.

There are three major factors that contribute to your feelings of fatigue. They are stress, lack of sleep and lack of exercise. The interesting thing is that if you take care of just one of these problems, the other two will take care of themselves.

Stress. Everybody has stress in their life at one time or another. Stress can cause weight loss or weight gain, high blood pressure, chest pain, lack of sleep, nausea, dizziness and the list goes on and on. Learning to deal with stress is one of the most important things that you can do for yourself. When you find yourself in a stressful situation, stop and take a deep breath. Slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do this several times until you feel yourself start to relax. Now that you are relaxed, give yourself some time to think about the best way to handle the situation.

Sleeping is the way your body repairs itself after a hard day. The average person needs eight hours of quality sleep a night to function at optimum capacity. But how many times do you lay awake at night tossing and turning? Your mind won't shut down or your body hurts from a strenuous day. Before you know it, the alarm goes off and you drag yourself out of bed exhausted.

But what if you could take care of these two scenarios with one solution? Exercise can help. Our bodies are like machines. They run more efficiently the more that we use them. Exercise can keep your joints pliable and your muscles toned. It is recommended that you get 30 minutes of exercise a day. After a hard day at work, instead of going home and plopping down on the couch to dwell on how tired you are, hit the gym. Work out your frustrations and stress by swimming, weight lifting or anything else that you like to do. The end result will be less stress and you will sleep better because your body will be more relaxed.

As you can see, there is a direct correlation between the lack of exercise and feeling tired all the time.Start slow, then gradually increase your workouts to get your body in the best shape possible. You will find that you have more energy than you know what to do with.
