Have you ever booked a wedding even though your gut was warning you
that this was not the right client for you because you needed the m.oney?
I have many times actually. You see, when were so desperate for business,
there are consequences. Ive booked those nightmare brides in the past who
came with all the warning signs and all because I felt like I needed the
money. And, of course, (probably like youve experienced too) I soon realized it
wasnt worth it - NO AMOUNT was worth working with them!!
So, contrary to what many people are saying right now, I actually
encourage you to say NO! when its not a good fit. Now you may be
thinking how in the world can I turn down business when so many others are
begging for it right now? Simple setup your business so that you can say no.
When you have the multiple streams of income, like workshops, products,
programs, and services, you no longer have to take on every single bride who
walks through your door. Instead, you can choose your brides, making sure that
they are a fabulous match for you too!! Thats what freedom in business is all
about.
If you are only relying on one stream of 1ncome for your business, add
more.
Really think about the most successful people you know out there, whether
theyre in the wedding business or not. They ALL have multiple streams of
1ncome. All of them!! Colin Cowie, Preston Bailey, Martha Stewart, Oprah
Winfrey I can keep going They all have multiple streams of income. So,
whether you want to make high 5, 6 or even 7 figures, do what successful
people do. Add streams of 1ncome and just say no when its not right!
