Can You Have A Spiritual Life Of Fun And Freedom?

If you are like most people, when you hear the words spirituality or spiritual life, you probably automatically think of the celibate priests in church pulpits or recluse yogis on mountain tops. This is a time when most people consider topics such as spiritual life and God as either controversial or simply too personal to be discussed outside of family or friends. Somehow people around the world has grown to believe that a spiritual life is based on giving up all fun and freedom and living in solitude and sacrifice. This is the furthest from truth! Interestingly, as you will end up finding out for yourself, a true spiritual life opens up the doors that lead to undreamed of freedom and divine ecstasy.

While there can be many roads that people around the world take in living a spiritual life, basic spirituality is simple and can be summarized as with the following key concepts:

a. The Creator of this Universe is omnipotent intelligence that pervades all reality.

b. All reality is created from this Divine Intelligence or Energy.

c. The universe is not a cosmic accident and there is a reason and purpose for its existence.

d. To keep it simple, the reason for all things is evolutionary. The universe evolves from lower states of energy and intelligence into higher and higher states of being.

e. Human beings have always felt a strong sense of separation from God since the birth in a body of flesh and bones. To fill the void of this separation or more appropriately unawareness, humans have struggled in many ways. Some of these ways are food, sex, money, trying to dominate other people, control lives of others etc.

f. When people reestablish this connection with God (find their awareness), they experience a real sense of peace and absolute bliss.

g. When people experience this amazing feeling of bliss and re-connection, they are automatically driven to help others awaken and experience the same.

In a nutshell, this is what a spiritual life is about.

Interestingly, as people awaken, they discover that there are many deeper forces that shape their lives! These invisible deeper forces begin to make a lot of beneficial things happen to you, things you may have not even asked for or imagined. These are the miracles or serendipities that people on a spiritual journey commonly seem to experience and talk about. As you awaken more and more, the miracles and synchronicities keep happening in greater extent. Its almost as if God becomes a part of your daily life in a very practical way. No wishes are small, no prayers are unimportant. In the most extraordinary ways all prayers are answered and fulfilled. You begin to enjoy a freedom that most people will never even dream about!

When people see intensely focused individuals on a spiritual journey like a yogi on a mountain, what they do not realize is that they are looking at someone who has given away the paltry material gains for a kingdom of cosmic treasures. Someone who has bargained with God and in exchange of our false sense of physical freedom, received an eternal freedom beyond time and space. Someone who has sacrificed paltry physical pleasures to receive divine ecstasy! Looking at it this way we may suddenly understand the absurdity of our corporate culture and our struggle to exchange our life for a credit card and a house. A true spiritual life does not mean that you cannot have material riches. You can keep whatever you want to, but sometimes it just makes no sense to keep the unnecessary chains of our materially focused societies.

A true spiritual life allows you to gradually prepare your heavily programmed mind to see beyond the material obvious and perceive the higher truths. Slowly you are able to understand the universal laws of creation and leverage on them for your own life. When you get there, your life becomes filled with real magic and miracles. The whole universe seem to align to bring your dreams into manifestation. For now your dreams have become the dreams of the universe . The dreams of God.
