Can I Order More Than One Vehicle For A Shipment?

There are certain times that someone shipping large amounts of products with a courier company might need to hire more than one vehicle if it is possible to do so. This usually happens for one of two reasons. Either there is too large of a shipment to be contained within a single vehicle, or the company that has hired the Miami courier service to complete the shipment is requesting multiple vehicles because they wish to have deliveries completed on a certain timeline to multiple clients around the city. Therefore, by hiring more than one vehicle they can help to make sure that all their deliveries are completed in the timelines that they require.

Sometimes it is possible for a courier to accommodate this type of request, but it is usually going to be completely dependent on how large of a fleet your particular courier has available to them. If a courier has more than enough vehicles, especially if they have a few backup vehicles, then it shouldn't be a problem for them to accommodate your request of an extra vehicle. However, you should expect to have to pay extra if you are requesting this type of service, because the courier company is likely looking at much increased costs to either use the extra vehicle exclusively for your service, or to have to modify the routes of two separate trucks to accommodate your delivery.

There are some other ways that you can fit your delivery requirements without hiring a second vehicle. You could, for instance, try hiring a driver to work exclusively for your company for a day; therefore being able to totally dictate the route that they are going to take for deliveries. This would help to ensure that any timelines you have to meet can be met, even if the driver will have to go out of their way.

The other option is to simply describe when and where you need your packages to get to, and to let the courier company suggest the best possible solution for you. The truth is that, in most situations, even when people think that they have decided upon an optimal method for having their shipments delivered, the courier companies might find something better. Remember, they are experts in delivery and distribution and can find the quickest, most cost effective method for you, so it can really pay to allow their input.
