Can I Get My Ex Back? 3 Character Flaws That Will Never Win Back Your Ex

By:

The man or woman of your dreams just walked out the door, and now you're wondering, "Can I get my ex back?" I'd love to sit here and give you a resounding YES, but let's be honest. That won't do you a bit of good if it's not the truth. The truthful answer is, "It depends."

There are many factors that come into play in getting your ex boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, or husband back. Some factors, such as your own actions, you have control of. Other factors, such as your lover's decisions, you do not. If you want to increase your odds of winning your ex back, then you need to focus on the things you can control and avoid these 3 very common relationship killing mistakes.

1.) Being A Drunk Terrorist

When people come to me for advice and want to know, "Can I get my ex back?", I sometimes ask them, "Well, are you a drunk terrorist?" This is usually followed by a blank, confused look at which time I'm forced to explain my response. What I'm referring to is the person who goes to the bar and drunk dials their ex or the person who sends them dozens of texts repeatedly during the day trying to get them to respond (referred to as text message terrorism).

This is a very common mistake and one that can be a relationship killer and ruin any chance you may of had to get back together with your ex. If you're guilty of it, you know what I'm talking about.

After a breakup, don't panic. Relax. Count to 10 if you have to. Putting pressure on your ex to take you back will only push them into someone else's arms.

2.) Becoming A Pig Pen

It's human nature during a breakup to become sad, lonely, and depressed. When this happens all energy is sapped from your body and you simply stop caring about things like your appearance, your diet, doing dishes, keeping your clothes picked up off the floor, combing your hair, etc. This creates a negative feedback loop. The more depressed you get, the more a mess things become and the more a mess things become, the more you get depressed and the less energy you have to fix them.

To break this cycle, you need to fight it from the beginning. If you want your ex back, a breakup is the time to start caring more about yourself and your appearance, not the other way around. Try something new, remain confident, and create a completely new you your ex won't be able to resist. Positive energy is contagious.

3.) Becoming A Loner

Being alone is one of the worst things you can do for your emotional health after a breakup, but it's an all too common mistake people make. Being alone simply drives you into a deeper depression because all you can think about is the breakup. However, it solves nothing. It won't bring your ex back. It ultimately makes you less attractive, so why do it?

Instead, invite some people to go out and do something fun. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and be open to meeting new people. When you get out into the world, you show your ex that you are self confident with or without them, and not desperate or needy. This becomes a very powerful, psychological trigger that creates attraction, and it has been responsible for bringing thousands of couples back together.

So, in answer to the question "Can I get my ex back?", yes you can if you avoid the relationship killing mistakes mentioned above.
