Can I Arrange A Courier Order Via Email?

By:

When you run a busy company, you probably are going to prefer to conduct all of your business in whichever method consumes the least amount of your time. Most of the time, this means doing as many things online and through email as you can. Knowing that this desire exists in many of their customers is why many order fulfillment services and couriers have made it possible for you to place a request for a shipment through email.

Using email as a primary method of requesting courier service has also become much more practical now that we tend to have access to email everywhere we go. Previously, most people only had access to email in their offices, but now almost everyone can send and receive full emails right from their Smartphones. This provides them with a very easy way to place their orders into a courier company no matter where they are or what they are doing when they realize they have a need to place an order.

If you want the flexibility to be able to place an order via email with your courier, you should know that you're probably going to have to open an account with a courier company in order to do this. Usually, any features or perks, especially those revolving around use of any online interaction or software, that a courier might offer tends to require that you open an account with them. Once you have, you may be able to just email them with a quick reference to your account number so they can begin to initiate a pickup or delivery.

Placing a shipping order via email is useful for more reasons beyond simply being convenient. The other nice thing about placing orders via email rather than over the telephone is that you have a record of your delivery request. It is always best to keep printed or electronic records of every transaction or request you make, and you send an email you're automatically going to have that.

Finding a courier that accepts delivery requests through their email is something that any internet savvy business owner should look for. The amount of time it can save you by simply being able to send an email instead of having to call in and potentially being placed on hold for several minutes just to place an order is considerable. Most couriers will indicate on their websites if you can place orders through email.
