Is it possible to make money on the internet? Money is being spent online every minute of every day. Online consumers are spending their money on salt shakers, desktop computers, movies, and millions of other products. And with every online sale a virtual or tangible product is shipped and funds are transferred to the online business. A win-win situation is achieved for both parties. I'll bet you didn't know there is usually a third party involved with almost every online transaction, and he or she is called the internet marketer. The internet marketer's primary function is to connect the buyer with the seller. When a successful transaction occurs, the marketer earns a commission. The commission paid to the marketer in exchange for redirecting the consumer will vary with each agreement but usually falls between 5% and 80% of the transaction amount. Affiliate marketing is the scenario that was just described. Affiliate marketing makes up the majority of online money-making methods. Most people wonder how I can achieve such high conversion rates. It's because I use incentive offers. Incentive offers allow a marketer to give away products in exchange for a consumer's information.

Another great method which I use exclusively on many of my sites is Pay per Click advertising or PPC for short. With PPC advertising, companies can gain instant traffic to their websites from thousands of text/image ads placed on content-related websites. With this method of online income, advertisers "pay per click" and the webmaster earns immediate revenue. Want supplemental income? Don't have a website? Lack marketing experience? If you want fast cash, try paid survey sites. Online survey sites have unfortunately garnered a bad reputation. Survey taking sites - despite what most people believe, are legitimate; they pay you for your opinion. Sites that require payments are the sites that you should avoid altogether. Earning thousands per day from surveys is not realistic. You should expect to earn between $9 and $25 an hour. How much you earn depends heavily on how much energy you put into it.

Making big money (and little money) online is very real. I know because I've cashed monthly checks using the above mentioned methods. You too can earn an online income if you choose. Internet marketing is easy to start but will take time to learn. The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to keep your money in your wallet. Do not buy guru books.
