Calling Features Add Value To Your Qwest Home Phone Service

By:

With all the hype that cellular phone service gets, between apps and carrier controversy, it's easy to think that home phone lines have nothing going for them. But nothing could be further from the truth.

It's not a secret that you get great call quality from home phone providers when you sign up for any of their great home phone plans, but they also have a wide range of calling features and extras. Here's a look at how some of these awesome additions can work for you.

Last Call Return makes it very easy for you to call back the last person that dialed your number. Simply pick up the phone and dial *69. Pretty cool, but that's not all. If the number's busy, Last Call Return will continue dialing for up to 30 minutes. You'll be notified by a distinctive ring when the call is connected!

Security Screen keeps unwanted callers off your line. A pre-recorded message tells callers from unidentified phone numbers that your phone does not accept unidentified calls. The best part of this feature is these calls never actually ring your phone. The call is blocked and the caller hears the recorded message!

With the Call Rejection feature, you can block up to 15 separate phone numbers. Like the Security Screen feature, your phone will never ring. A pre-recorded message tells them you're not accepting calls.

Then of course there is the more well known Three Way Calling that allows you to merge two calls together to be able to conference with two other people. While this may not seem so cool, remember that many cell phones still won't let you do this.
